yesterday 10th may, edine, bernie, steve and i went to damai for a day trip. went for lunch at jade pot and by 1.30pm we reached damai beach, thanks to steve who drove us up. edine's kl frens were climbing mount santubong and had stayed overnite there....so we kinda settled down for a lil while in the room before heading to the beach. played tai ti a few rounds then the beach here we come. at first, it was raining before we go out of town, luckily it was not raining at damai. or else, we would be spending the whole day in the room.
so of course, anyone who knows me doesnt swim but i was looking forward for the beach...just listening to the waves and enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. i guess its really relaxing. i just cant seem to think of anything when i was at the beach. your mind is jus empty
nothing....really nice, away from our daily lives. of course, the rest were swimming in the sea, while i of course had to help them jaga barang and just enjoyed my music while walking along the beach. then sherman came to join us,been ages since i met him, and he tried getting me to the sea, but of course no way am swimming. did play a lil though
wondering was i dead bored there??? alone?? of course not, thats like the best place to melapangkan fikiran and sure enough i would wanna go there again. it was hot of course, really hot and you can notice all the ang mos are busy sunbathing, enjoying the sun trying to get their tan while we all are avoiding to get darker and darker.

about 5 we head to the swimming pool, clean up and left damai cos steve has got a meeting at nite. had dinner at sarawak club. sending edine to her parents, bern and i stopped by to buy secret recipe cakes and then my turn to go home. but before heading home, we decided to go for a detour to makan ice cream....not really ice cream but shaved ice....iglool is the place, a place where bern claims is so delicious. and next to my ftms, they happen to open a new branch . gosh was just away for a week plus and a new shop has opened. iglool is actually a worldwide franchise shop. so you can go check it out at this website, www.charmyfood.com.tw the place is actually quite cool...the ambience is really nice and i give five star for it
so went to have snowed ice, i hate the one with marie cookies while bern had oreo peanut. it costs bout 4.80 and above, exp you mite say but it was kinda nice. then back home, by then it was like plus. dead tired tho i din swim like the rest. after my shower, i just realise i had lotsa cuts at my sole??? heels....must have kena the sharp stones while walking along the beach and stream. i was barefooted.
because of that, today i am like sitting down the whole with my lap top. missed youth meeting that joanne asked me to go. hope it heals fast or else, how am i gonna walk tomorrow. its just like a cracked heel but the cut is deep. oh well...... here are few pix takken in damai.....and tomorrow hopefully can post on my vacation. better stop now before my laptop burns out after 10 hours plus active
