Pirates

watched pirates at riverside yesterday with bernie and chang mei 6pm. why riverside? well, we all kinda agreed that star is kinda scary now, lousy compared to riverside. furthermore, star would probably be sardine packed but riverside not so. plus we dun have to make so mnay rounds up the carpark. buying tix about 5.30pm and looking at the seats available, its sure was gonna be a quiet theatre. however, the price was not wat as expected rm 8 but rm 10. catching some light snacks at the ground floor, we came back up at 6pm. and it really is typical right for asians/malaysians to be late rite, so we never expected the show to start on time but with few trailers at 6pm. so we went to the toilet, not wanting to miss any part of the movie. then we came out, the hall door was not open, there was no attendant. so we went into hall1 and checked, maybe it wasnt opened yet, but the show has already started...but cannot be we tot. it was pitch black and we couldnt even see our feet. out we went to check with the counter and they said the show had started, crap...we were late for 10 mins. by the time we sat, they were already at singapore. and wats worse, no tickect attendant accompanied us to our seats. bernie tot we were in the wrong hall and had to ask the guy sitting in front for confirmation. lucky he wasnt mad or anything. wats worse was, the speaker sucks....wait, not the speakers i would say but the film roll, cos sometimes it was stereo, then mono then at one point i think for a couple of mins there was no sound at all. and wats funny, no one actually went out to tell the ppl. guess we were all patient last nite.

so the tix was rm 10, we missed the beginning of the show, watching with mono/stereo speakers or even mute, no one to usher us on our seats.....anymore riverside next time??? well, we all decided to give it another chance since it was not that bad the last time any of us came. i went to watch 300 at riverside and everything was perfect. we'll see how it goes. the movie, to me, i like this better than the second one, in terms of the story line. but of course the previous one had more humour. comparing to spidey 3, i prefer this one.

finishing before 9pm, we went to walk around parkson, since it was on sale. and then fetched chris....who just got back earlier yesterday to go makan supper/dinner at chef at home. we chatted and i guess it was a series conversation!! wat series you have, help me burn!! everyone is so excited, wanting series from him. poor chris. victim of us 3 series hunters.

now that my exam is over, and next mon is a public hols i feel sooooo free. yup, sooo free. my dad will be coming back from hols with his frens in a couple of hours and my relatives are in town. tonite, makan again!
and more sleep, tv and makan!! hehe
